Recent research has shown that moderate wine consumption is nothing to be feel guilty about, and can actually provide health benefits.
A lot of people feel, drinking wine isn’t good for us, but the thing is, wine comes with lots of amazing and surprising health benefits that help the human body.

Whether it be a glass of red, white or pink, wine is the perfect health tonic, as long as you drink it in moderation. It’s basically awesome. Already well – known as heart healthy, wine in moderation might help you lose weight, boost immunity, prevent bone loss, it also helps reduce forgetfulness.

1. Wine is good for your eyes
Wine is very good for your eyes, especially when you take it in a moderate way. We all worry about the health of our eyes, with many saying that if there is one thing they really don’t want to happen to them its blindness. And although too much wine could make you see double on a night out, the right amount can mean that you have 30% less likely chance of developing cataracts than people who don’t drink wine.

2. Wine can be used to fight off common cold
Taking wine when you have common cold helps to take off silly colds, makes you feel stuffy and your throat starts to fell sore. Did you know that red wine in particular is rich in antioxidants that can reduce your risk of developing a cold by a whopping 40%?

3. Wine can help you live longer        
Wine contains compounds known as procyanidins, which promote cardiovascular health. Wine can help increase good cholesterol in the body and may actually decrease the bad cholesterol.

4. Lower heart disease
On top of lowering bad cholesterol, polyphenols – the antioxidants in red wine can help keep blood vessels flexible and reduce the risk of unwanted clotting.

5. Wine can help you sleep better

Another wonderful health benefits of wine is that it can help you sleep better. If you feel you don’t normally get sleep well, just a glass of wine can be enough to relax your mind and body, so that you gently drop off into the land of sleep.
